Professional Accounting for Your Cyprus Business

Stay compliant with Cyprus tax law through vetted accountants and auditors, matched to your business.

Overview

The Right Accountant, Matched to You

We do not provide accounting in-house. Instead, we connect you with trusted accountants and auditors from our network, matched to your size, sector and needs.

That means independent, professional advice and a provider you can rely on long after your company is set up.

It is a deliberate choice, not a gap in what we offer. An accountant who also sold you the company has an interest in the structure staying as it is. One who does not has no reason to tell you anything other than what the numbers say. Keeping the two apart costs us a revenue line and gives you a second opinion by default.

Every Cyprus company has the same baseline: proper books, an annual return, audited financial statements and documented board decisions. The audit is not optional and does not scale down for small companies, which surprises people arriving from jurisdictions where it does. Budget for it from the start rather than discovering it in month eleven.

What varies is everything on top. A holding company with a handful of transactions a year and a trading company issuing hundreds of invoices a month need very different providers, and matching the wrong one is expensive in both directions. Too small and they cannot keep up. Too large and you are paying for capacity you never use.

Doing the books yourself is legally possible. In practice we have yet to see a case where it was done correctly, and the corrections usually cost more than the accountant would have. The filing rhythm here has its own deadlines, and the audit requirement means an outsider reviews the result anyway.

What's included

What We Cover

Every part of your Cyprus accounting, through the right specialists, with us keeping the pieces aligned.

Bookkeeping & statements

Day-to-day bookkeeping, expenses, invoices and the financial statements built on top of them. Kept current rather than reconstructed in a panic before a deadline, which is where most of the avoidable cost in accounting actually sits.

VAT & tax compliance

VAT registration once you pass the 15,600 euro turnover threshold, the periodic returns, corporate tax and the recurring submissions your company owes. Cyprus deadlines are fixed and the penalties are automatic, so these run on a calendar.

Statutory audit

Cyprus companies are audited, without a small company exemption, and the audited statements are what the authorities work from. Our partners prepare and file them to standard, so it is a scheduled part of your year rather than an annual emergency.

Payroll

Payroll setup and monthly processing for your Cyprus team, including deductions, social insurance and the healthcare contribution, plus payslips. If you employ here, this stops being optional the moment your first hire signs.

Advisory, not just filing

The compulsory work tells you what happened. Advisory tells you what to do about it: how your structure affects your tax, where costs actually sit, and what to plan for. You use as much or as little of it as you want.

Annual return & filings

The annual return to the Registrar, board decisions documented properly and the UBO record kept current. Small filings that carry real penalties when they lapse, which is the usual way a dormant company becomes an expensive one.

Bank introductions

Which banks work for your type of business, what they will ask for and how to prepare the application so it goes through the first time. Approval is always the bank decision, but going in prepared changes the odds noticeably.

How it works

How You Get Matched

Three steps to an accountant who fits your business, without the search.

1

Initial consultation

We look at your business: size, sector, transaction volume and where the complexity sits. That is what determines which provider is actually right for you.

2

Partner assignment

We introduce you to the accountant or auditor from our network who fits your case, and we make the handover ourselves so nothing gets lost in translation.

3

Ongoing service

Your provider takes over the bookkeeping, filings and audit. We stay reachable and keep the different parts of your setup aligned as your business changes.

Questions

Accounting in Cyprus FAQ

What clients want to know before we introduce a provider.

Our partners do, and they know Cypriot tax law properly. That covers corporate tax, VAT returns and the recurring submissions your company owes. We coordinate the introduction and stay in the loop, so deadlines do not quietly slip.
Yes. Cyprus companies are audited, and the audited financial statements are what the authorities work from. Our partners prepare and file them to the required standard, so it is a scheduled part of your year rather than a surprise.
Our partners work under strict confidentiality and use secure systems for your records, in line with GDPR. Your data goes to the provider you are matched with, and nowhere else.
Yes. Beyond the compulsory work, our partners advise on the things that actually move the needle: how your structure affects your tax, where the costs sit, and what to plan for. You can use as much or as little of that as you want.
It depends on how you sell and how comfortable you are with software, so we do not push one tool at everyone. We look at your setup and recommend something that fits and that your accountant can work with without friction.
Yes. We explain which banks suit your business, what they will ask for, and how to prepare the application so it goes through cleanly the first time.
As a rough guide, accounting and auditing together start around 2,000 euro a year and rise with your transaction volume. The driver is how much work your activity creates, not the size of your balance sheet: a company with two transactions a month and one with two hundred are different jobs. Those are the external provider fees, not ours. The pricelist shows indicative tiers, and the consultation gives you a figure for your case.
For your own affairs, often yes. For the Cyprus company, rarely. The statutory audit has to be signed by an auditor licensed here, the filings go through Cypriot systems, and the rules differ enough that a foreign accountant ends up billing you to learn them. Most clients keep their existing advisor for the wider picture and use a local provider for the company itself.
From the start, ideally at incorporation. Bookkeeping that begins on day one costs a fraction of bookkeeping reconstructed from a shoebox eleven months later, and the audit will surface the gaps either way. If you are already mid-year with nothing in place, say so plainly at the consultation. It is a common situation and it is fixable, just not for free.
Tell us and we will introduce you to someone else. The match is based on your size, sector and how you like to work, and occasionally that judgement is wrong or your business changes shape. Since the provider is not us, swapping is a normal conversation rather than an awkward one.
Yes, though the work is much smaller. A dormant Cyprus company still files an annual return, still needs accounts and still gets audited. Companies people believe are switched off are the ones that quietly accumulate penalties, because nobody is watching a calendar for an entity that is not doing anything.
