Immigration & Legal Services in Cyprus

Navigate Cyprus's legal and immigration processes with ease, for both businesses and individuals.

Overview

Your Move, Legally Simple

From your Yellow Slip to residency, work permits and Non-Dom status, we guide you through every step and introduce you to the right legal firm from our trusted network.

Whether you are relocating yourself, your family or your team, we make the legal side of the move clear and stress-free.

The first question is always the same: which route applies to you. For an EU citizen it is short. You have the right to live and work here, and once you stay beyond three months you register your residence and receive the Yellow Slip, the certificate confirming that right. For a non-EU citizen the answer branches, into visitor status, the specialised worker route, fast track permanent residency, the Digital Nomad Visa, or a family route through an EU spouse. Each has different documents, different waiting times and different consequences later.

Getting that first answer right saves the most time of anything we do. People arrive having read a forum thread about a route that does not apply to them, prepare for it for weeks, and then start over. We would rather spend an hour telling you which door is yours than have you queue at the wrong one.

The legal side works the same way. We do not keep lawyers in-house, we introduce you to the specialist your case calls for: corporate, immigration, property, employment or intellectual property. A general firm can take almost any matter. A specialist has usually already seen yours, and the difference shows in how few rounds it takes.

What we keep is the overview. Your residency, your company and your tax position interact, and decisions made in one usually land in the others. Handling them through separate providers who never speak is how people end up compliant in three places and coherent in none.

What's included

What We Help With

The immigration and legal steps that matter for your relocation, and the specialists who handle each one.

Residency & Yellow Slip

Registration of residence for EU citizens, which grants an open ended right to reside, plus the permanent residency routes for everyone else. We prepare the file and handle the district office appointments, where the timeline is set by workload rather than by rules.

Non-Dom tax status

Qualify for 0% tax on dividends and interest for up to 17 years, with only the healthcare contribution of 2.65%, capped at 180,000 euro. It is the single largest reason people move their tax residency here, and it has conditions worth understanding before you rely on it.

Work permits & visas

Work permits for non-EU hires, the specialised worker route, and the Digital Nomad Visa for remote workers employed by a foreign registered company, which requires a net monthly income of at least 3,500 euro. Which one fits changes the timeline substantially.

Family relocation

Spouses, children and school places. A move that works for you and not for your family is not a move that lasts, so the family route is planned alongside yours rather than added afterwards.

Property law

Contracts and due diligence when you buy or sell, ownership rights, transfers and disputes. Cyprus property carries title history questions that a foreign buyer has no way to spot, and the check is far cheaper than the correction.

Contracts & employment

Service agreements, employment contracts and leases drafted or reviewed before you sign, by a firm that works under Cypriot law rather than adapting a template written for another jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

Registering and protecting trademarks, patents and copyright in Cyprus, so the asset your business is actually built on is recognised where your company sits.

How it works

How You Get Support

Five steps from your first call to a permit or agreement in hand.

1

Book a consultation

Tell us what you need: a residence permit, a work permit, a visa, or a legal agreement. We work out what your situation actually requires, which is often less than people fear.

2

Your service plan

You get a clear roadmap: the steps, the documents, the realistic timeline and what it costs. No open-ended engagements.

3

Partner assignment

We introduce you to the right specialist from our network for your case, whether that is immigration, corporate, property or IP law. The fit matters more than the firm name.

4

Document preparation

Your specialist prepares and checks the paperwork before anything is submitted. Most rejected applications fail on preventable document errors, so this step is where the time is won.

5

Submission and support

The application goes in and we keep you updated until it is through. If the authorities come back with questions, your specialist handles them.

Immigration & Legal FAQ

Permits, visas and legal work in Cyprus, answered plainly.

Residence permits, visa applications, work permits for foreign nationals and the practical side of relocating. For EU citizens that usually means the Yellow Slip. For non-EU nationals the route depends on your circumstances, and we map it out with you.
Yes. It lets non-EU nationals live in Cyprus while working remotely for an employer registered outside the country. You need to work online and show a net monthly income of at least €3,500, and further documents apply depending on your employment status. We prepare and submit the application.
Yes, through our legal partners: ownership rights, transfers, contract review and disputes. If you are buying, get the legal check done before you sign anything, not after.
Yes. Service agreements, employment contracts and leases, drafted or reviewed by our partners so the terms actually protect you rather than just existing.
Yes. Trademarks, patents and copyrights can be registered and protected under Cypriot law, and our partners handle the filing and the follow-up.
Under strict data protection protocols, in line with Cypriot and EU standards. Your case details stay between you and the specialist you are matched with.
Yes. You have the right to live and work in Cyprus without a visa. Beyond three months you register your residence and receive the Yellow Slip, which confirms that right and does not expire. What you generally need to show is sufficient financial resources, an address in Cyprus and valid health insurance. With complete paperwork it is one of the more straightforward moves in Europe.
Still possible, through several routes. It is simplest if you are married to an EU spouse. Otherwise the common paths are visitor status, the specialised worker permit, fast track permanent residency and the Digital Nomad Visa. Expect additional requirements: a clean criminal record, a health certificate, a local bank statement showing a required deposit and a bank guarantee. Which route fits depends on your work, your income and your family, and it is the first thing we establish.
It is a tax status for people who become Cyprus tax resident without being domiciled here, and it removes defence tax on dividends and interest for up to 17 years. Only the healthcare contribution of 2.65% remains, capped at 180,000 euro of income. Most people relocating from abroad qualify, but it interacts with where you spend your days and where your company sits, so it is worth confirming rather than assuming.
It depends on the service and how complex your case is, which is why we quote individually rather than publish a flat rate that would be wrong for most people. You get a clear figure at the consultation, covering both our coordination and the partner firm fees, before anything starts.
For parts of it, yes. Biometrics and some appointments require you in person, and school enrolment usually goes better when you are here. Much of the preparation happens before you arrive, so the aim is to make your time on the island count rather than spend it waiting for documents.
It depends on the case. Visa and residency applications typically run a few weeks, though appointment waiting times vary by district office. Property transactions and IP registrations take longer. You get an honest estimate at the consultation rather than a best-case one.

Moving from Germany to Cyprus was annoying at first because of so many scammers. Nikolas is not like that at all. Trustworthy, honest and helpful. It has been four years and everything he set up still runs great.

Alex Nolte

The Rebase team was transparent from the start on pricing and next steps, and promptly completed everything for my company and personal registration. We completed the whole immigration process in under 15 minutes.
